Delivery Policy

​

This Delivery Policy ("Delivery Policy") describes how ‘Crafted by…’ (“We”, “Us” or similar) handles requests for deliveries of orders made for our products or services. Our customers (“You”, “Your” or similar) are responsible for reading this policy before purchasing, making a purchase is agreement to this policy.

Free Delivery

​

We do not currently offer Free Delivery at this time; we encourage individuals to look-out for ‘Crafted by…’ at events (which may be local) to avoid these delivery costs. We will publicly announce any event we intend on attending via our website and/ or social media platforms and/ or mailing list subscribers.

​

Collection

​

Collection is available, free of charge/ at no cost, under the following agreement, which we and you the customer have formally agreed, via email or equivalent electronic means (please see https://www.craftedbycraftstore.com/contact-us for reference). Any order selecting this option, without prior agreement, will be cancelled and refunded without exception.

 

Delivery Locations and Limitations

We are only able to deliver to countries and territories within the United Kingdom: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland only.

 

We will be unable to offer exceptions to this, we politely ask that orders are not made with the intent to request delivery changes to regions not highlighted above.

 

Delivery Methods

​

We utilise a courier, “Royal Mail”, solely.

​

We offer the following 3 (three) delivery options:

We do not provide estimated delivery times etc. instead we recommend you review the content above and make an informed selection based on your needs and the options available from the selected courier.

Please note our delivery costs include the charges we incur from "Royal Mail" (please see links above) plus a small fee to cover our packing costs.

Delivery Periods

​

We do not operate to strict working/ operational hours. We will inform you when your order is progressing through our ordering process. In summary we operate in the following manner:

  • Placement of order – this is the action taken by you the customer. The order is placed via our online store, in which you select product(s), delivery method and successfully complete payment.

​

If you fail to pay to us any amount due, then we may withhold the products ordered, until payment is received. Notice will be given in writing, indicating that the order will be cancelled if payment is not received within 7 days.

​

You must be of legal age to place an order, as well as being authorised to use the payment method selected. Any suspected misuse or fraudulent activity will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

​

  • Order confirmation – an automated email will be sent to you confirming your order. At this point your order has entered our automated system (provided by wix.com). Your order may still be cancelled by us if we deem it appropriate or necessary (example being a cost error or inappropriate request made by customer). At this point, a customer may cancel their order by contacting us directly (https://www.craftedbycraftstore.com/contact-us). Order processing/ production will not begin until payment has cleared.

  • Order processing/ production – we will be in contact with you during this stage if we require additional input etc. Once this process is complete your order status will be set to “Fulfilled” (visibility subject to an online ‘My Account’ registration) – at which point we will prepare your order for dispatch to our courier, “Royal Mail” or for collection (as applicable). At this point, the order may no longer be cancelled. 

  • Order released to courier - we will indicate to you when your order is ready and provide details from our courier, “Royal Mail”, or collection details (as applicable).

You will have the opportunity to identify and correct input errors prior to making your order. The order is clearly summarised before accepting our Terms and Conditions, Privacy and Cookies Policy and Returns Policy.

 

Delivery Costs

​

Our delivery costs are variable and driven by weight, size and quantity of items – these are automatically calculated at the checkout stage of our ordering process.

​

Please note our delivery costs include the charges we incur from "Royal Mail" (please see links above) plus a small fee to cover our packing costs.

Delivery Tracking

​

Delivery tracking is not available on the ‘Royal Mail 1st Class (Non-tracked)’ delivery option, this is due to the courier “Royal Mail” not offering this. It is, therefore, a choice which a customer makes when they select this delivery option.

 

Delivery tracking is available on the ‘Royal Mail Tracked 24’ and ‘Royal Mail Tracked 48’ delivery options. All relevant tracking details (tracking numbers, details of delivery etc.) will be provided, as and when they are provided to us by the courier “Royal Mail”. Receipt of Delivery

​

The receipt of a delivery is subject to the terms the courier “Royal Mail” imposes. Multiple delivery attempts, failed delivery notifications or collection options etc. are subject to the courier, “Royal Mail”, discretion & terms and conditions (where applicable).

Receipt of a delivery is the sole responsibility of the customer; we therefore impress the importance of providing us with an accurate delivery address and/ or delivery instructions (where prompted). We are unable to alter any of these details once we release items to our courier, “Royal Mail”. We also remind customers to review all delivery options, as highlighted above, before making a choice – to ensure their needs are met.

Delivery Problems/ Issues

​

If you experience any problems with a delivery, please inform us (details available at https://www.craftedbycraftstore.com/contact-us) and then we contact the courier, “Royal Mail” directly.

​

We have provided the following list of the situations where a failure to deliver or issues with delivery may occur, these are seen as fault of the customer:

  • Incorrect delivery address has been given.

  • An error/ mistake in the address provided.

  • The address provided cannot be reasonable accessed.

  • In the case of non-tracked delivers, there is no individual present or secure means of leaving the delivery at the address provided.

  • In the case of tracked delivers, there is no individual present to receive the delivery and therefore unable to complete the requirements of the courier, “Royal Mail”.

We reserve the right to modify this Delivery Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
